How to Keep Your Shirt Looking Fresh (So It Lasts as Long as Your Pet's Love)
Wash cold - Hot water shrinks shirts and fades colors. Cold keeps everything looking good.
Turn inside out before washing - Protect that design you're gonna wear until it falls apart (we get it).
Use gentle detergent - This garment-dyed cotton is chill. Keep it that way.
First wash might bleed a little - Separate it from your fancy stuff. Just this once.
Air dry when possible - Best way to prevent shrinking and keep that soft texture. Plus, more time for pet cuddles while you wait.
Tumble dry low (if you must) - Low heat or delicate setting only. Remove promptly to avoid wrinkles.
Skip the bleach and harsh detergents - They'll fade the color faster than your cat's patience during bath time.
No fabric softeners - They mess with the shirt's texture, and nobody wants that.
Iron inside out on low heat - If you're ironing at all (respect). Use a pressing cloth or keep it inside out. The design and direct heat aren't friends.
Follow these steps, and your tee will keep up with you through all the chaos and cuddles of pet parenthood.
